Robert Rauschenberg original lithograph "Wart"
Medium: original offset lithograph. This work is also known as "Envelope". Rauschenberg executed this interesting Pop Art classic for Art In America in 1970. It consists of one composition on the front and a different original composition on the back (see the second photo). Printed on laminated paper with a center fold. Robert Rauschenberg was one of the New York artists invited to contribute original compositions in homage to poet Frank O'Hara (1926-1966) for the "In Memory of My Feelings" project in 1967. Sheet size: 12 x 9 inches (303 x 225 mm). There is a Frank O'Hara poem incorporated into the composition.
