Medium: heliogravure (after the Rembrandt etching). This impression on Arches laid paper was printed in 1880 for Philip Gilbert Hamerton's very scarce "Etching and Etchers". Plate size: 7 1/4 x 6 inches (183 x 152 mm). This heliogravure has a platemark surrounding the image and has the appearance of an actual etching. Signed in the plate (not hand-signed).
