Medium: original etching. The artist Adolphe Martial Potemont was also known as A. P. Martial. This impression on laid paper was printed in 1880 for Philip Gilbert Hamerton's very scarce "Etching and Etchers". Plate size: 9 1/4 x 5 inches (235 x 135 mm). Signed in the plate, not hand-signed.

Condition: there is some age-toning to the paper.
