Sir Frank Brangwyn original etching "Le Pont Valentre, A Cahors"
Medium: original etching with drypoint. Published in Paris in 1912 for Revue de L’Art Ancien et Moderne. This magnificent Brangwyn etching shows the famous 14th Century French bridge over Lot River, to the west of Cahors. The plate measures 7 x 9 1/2 inches (180 x 240mm). In fine condition, although the top margin is more narrow than the others. Not signed. This is a remarkably rich, dark impression on cream wove paper.

Medium: original transfer lithograph. Executed in 1896; this composition was drawn by Brangwyn on lithographic transfer paper. Published in London in 1898 by "The Studio". Printed on cream wove paper; the image measures 7 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches (185 x 190mm). Signed in the stone (not by hand), with The Studio blindstamp in the margin.
Condition: the right margin is trimmed, as shown in the second photo.
