Chagall was commissioned to paint the ceiling of The Paris Opera; he executed this original lithograph as the frontispiece for a book which celebrated that project. This impression was printed in Paris by Mourlot in 1966 for the American edition. Size: 12 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches; 325 x 240 mm. Not signed.
