Medium: engraving. From Lucas van Leyden's "Passion" series, executed in 1521. This is a later impression pulled from the original copper plate, printed in Antwerp in 1948 in an edition of 250 on Chiffon d'Auvergne laid paper, and issued by the Stedelijk Prentenkabinet Museum, of Antwerp. The plate measures 4 3/4 x 3 inches. In good condition (with some waviness to the paper). Signed in the plate.
