Medium: soft-ground etching (etched by W. F. Wells after Thomas Gainsborough). A beautiful and delicate print, from the 1819 Boydell edition, published in London. Printed on wove paper. The image measures 7 5/8 x 10 1/2 inches; there is a platemark around the etched image, and the full sheet measures 11 x 16 1/2 inches.

Condition: minor soiling and age-toning. Additionally, there are two repaired tears to the top margin, extending inside the platemark but not affecting the etched image.
