Medium: lithograph. Matisse executed this composition in 1937 especially for the back cover of the debut issue of Verve (volume 1, number 1). Sheet size: 14 x 10 1/4 inches (355 x 260 mm). Not signed.

Condition: as this was the actual cover, there is wear and soiling, in addition to the natural crease near the right edge of the sheet.
