Medium: lithograph (after the ink drawing). Giacometti composed this portrait -- in homage to his friend and fellow artist Georges Braque, who died in 1963 -- for the special 1964 edition of Derriere le Miroir (No. 144-145-146) published in Paris by the Maeght atelier. The full sheet measures 15 x 11 inches (380 x 278 mm). There is text on verso, as issued. This impression is from the deluxe edition of 350 on velin de Rives paper (the lithograph itself is not numbered but is from portfolio number 27 of 350). Not signed.
