Medium: original etching. Signed in pencil with Childe Hassam's monogram signature; the number "20" is annotated at the lower left. Executed in 1932 for a portfolio of etchings commemorating the life of George Washington. Printed on watermarked laid paper, with full margins. Size: 8 1/4 x 13 3/8 inches (plate); 217 x 340mm.

Condition: very good, except for a few spots of foxing; please note that this print has been mounted (laid down) by a previous owner onto a cardboard backing sheet.
