Medium: original lithograph. Olga Carol Rama was also known as Carolrama. This work was executed during her abstract period for the second volume (1956-57) of very rare Documenti d'Arte d'Oggi, published in Milan by Groupe Espace. The total sheet measures 12 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches (322 x 218mm). There is a poem by Alberto Oggero printed on verso, as issued. Signed in the plate, not by hand.

Condition: There is aging to the paper.

Documenti d'Arte d'Oggi was an ongoing project of the Concrete Art Movement (Movimento arte concreta). This important portfolio consisted of original silkscreens, serigraphs, lithographs, woodcuts and linoleum cuts on various types of paper, compiled into an annual album from 1954-1958. Among the artists represented in this issue were: Aagaard Andersen, Enrico Bordoni, Angelo Bozzola, Guiseppe Capogrossi, Gillo Dorfles, Galliano Mazzon, Gianni Monnet, Bruno Munari, Mario Nigro, Sandro Pessina, Vivaldo Poli, Carol Rama, Regina, Manlio Rho, Nino Di Salvatore, Emilio Scanavino, Tito Varisco, Luigi Veronesi and Simonetta Vigevani Jung. Original prints by most of these artists are rare.
