Documenti d'Arte d'Oggi was an ongoing project of the Concrete Art Movement (Movimento arte concreta). This important portfolio consisted of original silkscreens, serigraphs, lithographs, woodcuts and linoleum cuts on various types of paper, compiled into an annual album from 1954-1958. Among the artists represented in this issue were: Enrico Bordoni, Angelo Bozzola, Guiseppe Capogrossi, Galliano Mazzon, Aagaard Andersen, Gianni Monnet, Mario Nigro, Sandro Pessina, Vivaldo Poli, Carol Rama, Regina, Manlio Rho, Nino Di Salvatore, Emilio Scanavino, Gillo Dorfles, Tito Varisco, Luigi Veronesi, Bruno Munari and Simonetta Vigevani Jung. Original prints by most of these artists are rare.

The Movimento arte concreta (Concrete Art Movement), was a group of avant-garde artists working in Italy during the 1950's. Among the artists who contributed prints for this issue were: Enrico Bordoni, Joe Colombo, Regina, Nino Di Salvatore, Gillo Dorfles, Gianni Monnet, Bruno Munari, Luigi Veronesi, Tito Varisco, Carol Rama, Simonetta Vigevani Jung and Lucio Fontana. These prints are quite rare today.

This original print is from the famous "1 Cent Life" book/portfolio, published in 1964 by E. W. Kornfeld, in a limited edition of 2000. The lithography was executed by Maurice Beaudet, of Paris. 1 Cent Life was a monumental undertaking-- a revolutionary Pop Art and poetry project organized by Walasse Ting and Sam Francis. Among the artists who contributed original lithographs to this project were Andy Warhol, Robert Indiana, Roy Lichtenstein, Pierre Alechinsky, Asger Jorn, Mel Ramos, Jim Dine, Tom Wesselmann, Robert Rauschenberg, Claes Oldenburg, Karel Appel, Antonio Saura, James Rosenquist, Alan Davie, Sam Francis, and Walasse Ting.
