Medium: original etching and drypoint. Best known for his lithographs, Toulouse-Lautrec executed only nine drypoints during his artistic career, and this composition is one. This impression was published by Bernheim-Jeune in 1920 for the rare volume by Theodore Duret, "Lautrec". The plate measures 6 3/4 x 4 inches (170 x 100 mm). Plate-signed with the Toulouse-Lautrec monogram, not hand-signed.
