Medium: original woodcut. Printed in 1948 on thick wove paper in an edition of 50. The catalogue reference Arntz 282b. This impression is signed by Jean Arp beneath the image and numbered 37/50 near the bottom right corner of the sheet. The woodcut image measures 4 3/4 x 7 1/4 inches (122 x 185 mm) and the full sheet size is 13 1/4 x 10 inches (335 x 255 mm).

Condition: there is foxing and minor creasing and the paper is somewhat unevenly age-toned.
