Medium: original offset lithograph and mixed media collage and multiple. Catalogue reference: Gemini 276. Executed in 1971; this impression was published by Gemini G.E.L. the same year. Size: 10 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches (270 x 220 mm).

This multiple consists of a real paintbrush and three actual watercolor paint cakes mounted onto a two-color offset lithograph. Signed in the image (not by hand). Jasper Johns invites you to collaborate with him and complete the work, creating your own version of his Target.

Condition: in unusually good condition for this piece, with the paintbrush and paint cakes still intact. Issued mounted inside a white plastic clamshell case (the case itself has aged and become separated into two sections). A vintage Pop Art classic!
