Medium: collotype with pochoir coloring (after the Degas drawing). This magnificent print is from Henri Riviere's rare "Le Dessins de Degas" portfolio, issued in Paris in 1922 by Demotte in an edition of 250. Printed on laid paper, the actual print measures 16 x 12 inches (405 x 305 mm) and was mounted by the publisher onto a larger support sheet (glued along the top edge and part of the left edge). Signed in the plate, not by hand. This impression bears the publisher's blindstamp near the lower left.
